Sentence types - writing new zealand curriculum
- PDF
Description
A great resource for students, to fine-tune their writing and become confident in writing quality sentences.
Great to use with criteria, and to encourage students to highlight evidence of sentence types, to keep them on track.
Teaching one sentence at a time allows students to explore and write their own examples. We have used these in a structured way, giving set topics, and it brings success to our students every time.
Highly recommend having copies of these, for students to refer back to and using the digital criteria. It will help guide and focus them when they are showing evidence of the sentence types.

This resource has helped many reluctant writers, especially those who lack confidence in ideas. Giving them a topic helps support them starting, as they just practice the sentence types.
