Description

The Sentence Building Cards offer a fun activity where your students can create silly sentences while learning about sentence writing.  With color-coded cards and helpful posters, they'll easily grasp the parts of a sentence and how to put them in the right order.

Students will enjoy picking cards to craft their own silly sentences. They'll record their creations, and if they need a visual reminder, the Sentence Train Posters will be there to guide them on sentence writing.

  • Students absolutely love making silly sentence combos—it's a total blast!
  • They will practice and recognize Subject-Verb Agreement, capitalization, ending punctuation and sentence writing.

Perfect for a writing center or literacy center, these sentence writing activities are ideal for Kindergarten and early elementary grades.
