Sentence Sequencing | Order Details in Writing IEP GOAL SKILL BUILDER for Special Education

This 200 worksheet IEP goal skill builder packet focuses on the area of writing sentences in sequence of events by describing, predicting, or providing an opinion. This IEP Goal Skill Builder packet is adapted for students in 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. Each worksheet includes three pictures in sequence for the student to write about and data collection for the teacher to gather valuable IEP goal information.

WHAT IS AN IEP GOAL SKILL BUILDER WORKSHEET PACKET?

An IEP Goal Skill Builder worksheet packet promotes independent work skills for students during academic follow-up lesson, seat work, inclusion in General Education setting, a resource for home school, or skill reinforcement. Each packet hones in on an important skill that is aligned to academic state standards and leads to IEP goal mastery.

· 100 Worksheets for student to trace the sentences to sequence to events or actions (Sentences provide a direction for the student when they begin Level 2 sentence writing)

· 100 Worksheets for student to write sentences independently/or with prompts as needed to form sentences based upon picture sequence

· An extra blank lined writing paper to extend writing

· Worksheets include EASY TO RECORD DATA (for teacher or parent/guardian to complete!)

(1.) Given three related pictures, each representing a sequence or change of events, STUDENT will WRITE three sentences (one sentence for each picture) to describe or state what is happening, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.

(2.) Given three related pictures, each representing a sequence or change in events, STUDENT will TRACE three sentences (one sentence for each picture) to describe or state what is happening, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.

EXTENDED WRITING GOALS:

(3.) Given three related pictures, each representing a sequence or change in events, STUDENT will WRITE one cohesive paragraph with a clear beginning, middle, and end, in order to tell a sequenced story, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.

(4.) Given three related pictures, each representing a sequence or change in events, STUDENT will write one cohesive paragraph with a clear beginning, middle, and end, using punctuation and spacing in order to tell a sequenced story, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
