What educators are saying

I really liked that the writing also had a craft that went with it! Thank you for that and giving different writings of different genres.

Description

This unit has materials to teach the three different kinds of writing that are required in the Second Grade Common Core ELA Standards. Students will write an imaginative narrative about a day that they grew bunny ears and a tail. The Easter Bunny has a cold and needs them to deliver the eggs! For the persuasive piece, students will try to convince their parents that a rabbit would make a great pet. For the informative piece, students will read a passage about rabbits and then write about it. Each writing has a planning sheet and decorative paper for the finished product. There is a bunny craft to make as well. This writing unit has enough writing to last for an entire month of lessons. The finished products make great bulletin board or hallway displays. The unit is simple to use and to teach. Look for more monthly writing packs in my Teachers Pay Teachers Store.
