What educators are saying

My students loved using this resource. It is appropriate for different age levels and abilities. I even used the format as an idea to create an extension activity. Thank you!

Description

A delightful animated video short and lesson about an encounter with a Rubik's Cube. Beginner / Intermediate level.

A full pptx version with written text to use for the story is included. Perfect for retelling with pictures.

1. Show the video and pause and elicit what is happening from the students.

2. Provide the worksheets. Students order the sequence of events and write sentences to retell the story using the keywords. Also, complete a T or F quiz.

3. Use the pptx story to get students to retell the story. Then show them the suggested text. Click the icon to download separately.

4. Answer key with suggested sentences.

5. Writing prompt - students write about a time when they were "stuck" and how they finally solved the problem.

6. Problem - Solution organizer. Brainstorm solutions and the best solution to a problem.

Contains full links on the last page to the PPTx. PDF has a writing / retelling exercise and a full True or False worksheet with answer key.
