What educators are saying

We live in a very remote area that does not offer outside of school OT services. My little one needed some OT work and this made it very fun and enjoyable to do at home. So thankful for these resources.
I have this in my Fine Motor Skills cart. I pull it out at least once a week and the kids are really improving on their cutting skills!

Description

Sometimes my students need extra practice learning how to use scissors. I created this product to help my students get more practice from regular cut and paste activities.

Included in this Packet:

  • 4 pages of cutting lines (straight, curved, and zig-zag)- these pages are full sized pages

  • 5 pages of cutting shapes (circle, hexagon, arrow, square, triangle)- these are 4 shapes on one page. The teacher could cut each box out and hand the students one shape to cut out.

  • 3 pages of cutting lines (straight, curved, and zig-zag)- these pages are 4 on each page, so that 4 students could use one page. The teacher would cut the 4 boxes out and the student would cut the lines.

  • 4 pages of cutting out squares around pictures

  • 3 half sheet pages where 2 students could use a 1 page. These have stars, zig-zag, & curved lines.

  • Cut around all capital letters - alphabet

What Teachers Are Saying:

"Scissor and fine motor practice is so important! I'm glad to have found a resource that I can print on different colors of paper and go. I can cut the papers in half for my struggling cutters. I can also work on different cutting activities with the variety to differentiate in small groups. One students have gotten the hang of using the sheets to practice cutting properly, I add some to our art center for students to cut and make a collage of all of the different colored papers and cutting (I print on different colored cardstock)" -Madison

"This is a great way to reinforce fine motor skills with my first graders who still needed to build that hand strength. I would print on Astrobright colored paper and send home as practice." -Nikki
