Science Minerals in Everday Life - Fourth Grade - High School

This science books focus is on minerals around us, where they come from and how they are used in our everyday life. This book would be great as a supplement for an Earth Science Unit or Rocks and Minerals Unit.

I wrote the book with another colleague for the Northwest Mining Association.

Each mineral has Student Objectives, Tips for Teachers, Suggested activities for reinforcement and Measurement and Evaluation Questions.

At the top of each mineral page students are given the color, weight and where found information. After students read information on the mineral there is an activity at the bottom of the page.

At the end of the book there is a final review and test of all minerals.
