Description

This is an engaging lab to get students thinking about adaptations and specialized structures. This lab works best in groups of 3-4 students so that each student in the group has a different beak to work with. The accompanying PowerPoint goes through the directions. Read beforehand so you get a feel for how the lab is to go and then read together as a class.

Handful of glass beads, unifix cubes, small squares, or something similar in size
