Scat Lesson Set

This set contains two files:
1. An information presentation on scat singing including the definition of scat, links to video examples of scat singing, information about Ella Fitzgerald, and suggestions of picture books to incorporate with this lesson.
2. Scat Cards: This set includes directions and 28 different common scat syllable cards. The directions explain how to help students begin creating and performing scat patterns in small groups and as soloists.

This is used in my classroom as part of my overall jazz unit.
