Sample of highly motivating writing rubrics connected to CCSS for grades K-2. These are meant to be either used singly and attached to student work, copied and bound into books, or posted in their large versions. If using in small version form, students enjoy self-checking their work with these rubrics using stamps or stickers. (self-inking, pencil-topper stamps work well) My students love these and respond well as they want to "fill up all of their scoops" as we work on developing writing.
