Salman Rushdie's Midnight's Children Test

This is a 65 question assessment of Salman Rushdie's novel, Midnight's Children, along with the corresponding answer key. It could also be used as a study guide or worksheet to help students recall significant characters and events. The test includes 36 matching questions where students match the description or nickname to the character and 29 multiple choice questions that cover the entirety of the novel. Each question also has an accompanying page number to where the answer can be found using the 2006 Random House paperback edition. This test can be taken in a 45 minute class and truly assesses students' knowledge of the novel. The questions are appropriately selected to demonstrate students' understanding of the characters and major events.
