Use rap music to keep your students engaged with these sequence of events reading passage and worksheets based on a Sacagawea biography rap song.

Students will listen to the song then use the song lyrics as a reading passage to complete the activities detailed below.

The song for this activity explores Sacagawea's youth, her involvement with and contributions to the Lewis and Clark expedition, and the controversy regarding her impact on Native Americans.
