Description

STEM SQUARES are student choice boards that encourage children to have a choice in the tasks that they complete in a Maker Space, STEM class or as homework.

These tasks promote creative problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Each STEM - MAKER choice board is themed to allow teachers to align STEM SQUARES to their classroom topics. Having themed choice boards encourages students to build on their knowledge of the topic as they progress through the tasks.

The tasks are kept open-ended to allow students to fulfill their innovative and creative potential. They are a perfect compliment to any MakerSpace, STEM center, Science Center or classroom homework schedule.

STEM SQUARES is a creative way to encourage families to take part in a project together at home.

Students may cross off or color in squares for the tasks as they complete them, and you may choose to require students to complete a certain number of tasks each month.
