One of our favorite science projects we do is our STEM Egg Drop Experiment! I love this activity because it’s highly engaging, hands-on, content-rich, and content-specific. This version is editable! You can add your own date and rubric values.
I’ve included clear directions, a grading rubric, thoughtful suggestions for use, and a Student Report. The Student Report requires students to describe, measure, and sketch their container, share what happened during home trials, share what happened on Drop Day, and reflect on what they might do differently if they repeated the experiment.
The instructions and rubric are editable so that you can add the due date on your computer and/or change the values of the rubric to better suit your needs.
