Description
Within this lesson, students will be tasked with creating a structure made of straws, paper clips, and other materials that is able to withstand a simulated earthquake. Students will learn about earthquakes, and the technology used to avoid catastrophes in their wake.
This project requires students to work together, research various structures, and create a tower than can withstand a specified weight.
These plans include:
- Detailed instructions. Everything is clearly laid out and easy to administer, including time to spend on each activity.
