    Description

This is a bundle of three of my STAAR products. If you have previously purchased any of my other STAAR Reading Task Cards, you will be duplicating that purchase here.

There are a total of 72 task cards. Each of the cards has a STAAR-like question. The questions are designed to look like questions students may see on the STAAR test. The questions that are asked have been created using STAAR stems and modeled from the released STAAR passages. The questions asked are multiple choice.

There are a total of 24 expository task cards. Each card has a short excerpt from an expository text. The cards include topics like obesity, teen jobs, exercise, space, bullying, violence, technology and many more.

There are a total of 24 fiction task cards. Each card has a short excerpt from a fiction text. The cards include texts from Guy de Maupassant, Edgar Allen Poe, O. Henry and many more. Each of the cards has a STAAR-like question.

There are a total of 24 poetry task cards. Each card has a different short poem on it. The cards include poems from poets such as: Robert Frost, William Wordsworth, Walt Whitman, Samuel Coleridge, Robert Browning, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and many more.

There are so many uses for this product. You can use them as a warm up or as an exit ticket. You can use them in literacy stations, gallery walks, or even work for early finishers. Every time I use them in a different way. These cards are so versatile.
