I love using this product in Google Docs because it makes it so easy for me to share it with my students through Google Classroom. Also these writing prompts are completely editable! This is great news for teachers! I just choose the prompt that I want for the students to practice and I make a copy of the original file (to save in my Google Drive). In the new file, I choose the prompt that I am using and delete the others. This way the students only see one prompt at a time. I have my students type their essay below the prompt.

If you don't want your students to make any changes to the Google Docs, then you share it as view only. This is perfect because the STAAR test is online now. If you still want to use paper copies, the PDF file is included.

These editable writing prompts can be used independently, whole group, in stations, centers, teacher small groups, intervention time, and more. Some teachers even assign these as homework practice.
