DO YOU HAVE students with complex communication needs, NONVERBAL/LIMITED VERBAL skills in your classes? This book and packet is a MUST HAVE when working with these students. Targeting environmental sounds is a great place to start! Use this during whole group therapy/circle time or in small groups or one-on-one. This book has been a lifesaver over the years for many of the students in my self-contained programs. It's very easy to use and includes pictures for assistive technology devices! The story and questions will give you and your students lots of opportunities to work on vocabulary, receptive & expressive language skills, following directions, answering WH and YES/NO questions, describing, verbs, and lots more!

CONTENTS:
1. SOUND BOOK (p. 1 - 40)
2. PICTURE QUESTIONS (p. 41 – 44) You can use these for identifying or labeling as well. Have them put a chip on the correct response.
3. WH QUESTIONS (p. 45 – 47) Use these during or after reading the book.
4. AAC DEVICE PICTURES (p. 48 - 49) Use these with assistive tech devices such as a Go Talk, Cheap Talk, MACK switch, or as a picture to choose.
5. DATA (generic sheet) (p. 50)
