Description

Are your students going to be ready for the SMARTER BALANCED or PARCC end-of-year tests? Both the Smarter Balanced and PARCC end-of-grade tests have tasks where the students must view and analyze media (video clips) and then take notes and use that information to write an essay or answer short-answer questions.

Why not include MOVIE ANALYSIS as one of your LITERACY CENTERS?

This analysis sheet will work with any movie or clip. Students will view the video clips of your choosing and then use the sheet to record their notes and then analyze and summarize the information that they viewed. This is a skill that they will need beyond the SMARTER BALANCED and PARCC end-of-year tests!

In addition to this document, information regarding free, high-quality video clips are included.
