SIX TRAITS OF WRITING POSTERS

I created these posters for each of the six writing traits (Ideas, Sentence Fluency, Conventions, Voice, Organization, and Word Choice) for a K-5 classroom with kid-friendly wording. Each trait has 2 posters, one with key qualities of the writing trait and one with essential questions to ask as students write to be sure they are meeting the qualities of the writing trait. I use them in my writing lessons as I teach each trait and then display them in our writing area as we go. I hope they work for you!
