Description

In this bundle are five quizzes comprised of short passages and five multiple-choice questions written to approximate SAT reading questions. Question types include vocabulary in context, author technique and evidence support. It is formatted to look like the SAT to help students become familiar with the exam. They can be used as bell-ringers, warm-ups, closing activities, part of your plans for a substitute teacher, for extra credit...anything you like!

They are great SAT practice, and the readings are from the work of W.E.B. Du Bois: "The Negro," "The Gift of Black Folk," "The Souls of Black Folk," "John Brown," and "Religion in the South."
