Description

This short quiz approximates a reading (literature or history/social studies) section of the SAT. It utilizes an excerpt of W.E.B. Du Bois's "Religion in the South" and poses five SAT-style reading questions including vocabulary in context, author technique and evidence support. It can be used as a bell-ringer, warm-up, closing activity, use with a substitute teacher, for extra credit...anything you like! It is great SAT practice. The file includes an answer key.
