What educators are saying

These are great for practice reading blends but also practicing those s blend speech sounds which can be tricky. Great resource! Thanks!
The imagery was bright, my students were engaged with the materials and it was easy to adapt across skill level. I would give this 6 stars

Description

S-Blends Speech with a twist! Crisp images and engaging hand-on fun.! Students use these adorable snakes to assist them in the production of initial sound /s/ blends. Sssssssss+Lime = Slime, Sssssss+Pin= Spin, etc. Check out the video preview on Full Screen to see this strategy in action.

I've been successfully using this strategy for years with my students and am so happy that I finally put this idea into a product for you to use with your students.

7 pages of fun blending tasks with 5 target words per page, 63 picture cards with initial blends of /St/, /Sk/, /Sw/, /Sn/, /Sm/, /Sl/, and /Sp/, Snake cueing cards, and Coloring the Snake's Scales page.

Happy Buyers say:

"So simple and by far one of my most used materials! Thank you!"

"I love this! My students do so much better with visuals and this is a great product!"

"I love these visual prompts for /s/ blends, which is such a common articulation error with my school population. Thank you for this resource! Saved me a lot of time."
