Description

This reader's theater was written for four students. It ties in Social Studies with Language Arts. It is a short biorgraphy of Ruth Bader Ginsburgl. The students have dressed up for a class as someone famous. Two of the students do not know who Ruth Bader Ginsburg was and two are excited to tell them all about her. I use reader's theater as a way to encourage my reluctant readers to raise their fluency. It motivates everyone! My name is Melanie Whitesides but my store name is Wonbyone. I wrote this reader's theater for Women's History Month but it could be used any time. If you like this script, check out some of my others. I write scripts for small groups because students aren't kept waiting as long to do their part and they get more practice in. Please let me know what you think of this one. My scripts are black and white except for the occasional color picture on the front. I do this to make it cheaper to photocopy by using less ink as well as to make it easier for students to read. Thank you.
