Rules of the Game Characterization Activity

This is a common core based activity where students are provided with three different adjectives describing the main character, Meimei. For each adjective, there is a piece of evidence showing that Meimei possesses that specific character trait. This activity forces the students to analyze the evidence provided and provide and explanation as to why that piece of evidence accurately supports the given trait. It then asks students to find further evidence to support the given traits. Finally, there is a follow up activity where students need to identify a fourth character trait and support it with more evidence from the text.
