Rocks All Around Us!

This is a PBL Project for a 2nd Grade classroom but, can be modified up or down for other grade levels. The students become Geologist as they discover, research, and make their own undiscovered rocks. In this PBL file you will receive the calendar for the whole project, team contracts for each research team, master copy of the student's paper journal (they kept and did assignments on google drive as well throughout the project), and the lay out of the whole project. I hope you have fun with it as my students loved presenting it and teaching our guest all about the characteristics of rocks and how they are used in every day life!
