Description
Are you teaching the rock cycle and in need of an authentic assessment that integrates writing?
This is a rock cycle writing project that students love! The students will plan and write a story told from the perspective of a rock going through the rock cycle. Their stories should be creative but also scientifically accurate!
Included -
- clear directions that are divided into parts
- planning sheets to ensure that students write stories that include three accurate changes
- a short example to get them started
- a RUBRIC for the science and the writing aspects of the project
Students use file folders to create their project. Directions refer to a file folder.
