What educators are saying

Kids loved using this as a book response to the rhyming dust bunnies and showing off their rhyming skills
My students love this activity. It is a great book to interact with for rhyming and they enjoyed creating their own dust bunny and writing their own poems.

Description

Rhyming is so much fun to teach with this fun dust bunny craft and activity! This activity was created to complement my favorite rhyming book, Rhyming Dust Bunnies, and provide a quick and fun rhyming assessment for preschool, kindergarten, or first-grade students!

This activity consists of a dust bunny craft and response pages for students to draw pictures and write rhyming words. Students can show their knowledge of rhyming with a given word, generating one rhyming pair, generating two rhyming pairs, and generating four rhyming pairs.

What’s Included:

  • Printable rhyming dust bunny craft pieces
  • Rhyming writing pages for different abilities including:
  • Rhyming with a given word
  • Generating one rhyming pair
  • Generating two rhyming pairs
  • Generating four rhyming pairs

This craft and writing activity can be used as a fun activity to complement the book after it's read aloud or used as an assessment for rhyming words.

You'll love displaying the cute craft with the writing activity on a bulletin board or having a meaningful and fun way to assess students!

What Teachers Others are Saying:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Elizabeth H. says, "Loved using this while studying onset and rime, it saved me a lot of time to just print out the worksheet instead of creating my own."
