Teaching American speeches can often be both difficult and somewhat boring for students. This bundle is a full unit, which includes an "Introduction to Understanding Rhetoric" and four American speeches: Patrick Henry's "Speech in the Virginia Convention," an excerpt from Thomas Paine's "Crisis, No.1," Abraham Lincoln's "The Gettysburg Address" and Second Inaugural Address," and an excerpt from Frederick Douglass's "What to the Slave is Fourth of July."
