Description

This activity is geared towards South Carolina's third grade social studies standards.

Do you want your students to practice following directions and learn about South Carolina's Revolutionary War battles at the same time? If so, this activity is for you!

Students are given a labeled map of several battles that took place in South Carolina. Each label tells the name of the battle, the date it took place, and the victor. Students are then asked to color and draw certain characteristics for each battle.

*Note: Students are only required to know about the following battles: Sullivan's Island, Cowpens, Kings Mountain, and Eutaw Springs. I added two other battles to the map: Waxhaws and Monck's Corner.

I hope your students enjoy this activity!
