Here is a great toolkit to add to your resources if you are using Restorative Circles or plan on trying them. It includes a T-Chart of student role and Teacher role, a letter to parents about Restorative Circles, a planning sheet for lessons, an example plan, and a brainstorm sheet for students so that they can help decide on a talking piece. If you are wanting to create a positive classroom and prove to your principal that you are highly effective this toolkit should help you begin this process. Restorative circles is best practice for being pro active. Communicate with your parents, involve your students and create a t-chart for your classroom. Start planning authentic circles.
