Teaching Research Simulation Task geared for PARCC? Distribute this reference sheet/outline to help your students understand the structure of the essay task. Please keep in mind, this is just one way to organize ideas. Students may be asked to respond a different way. Feel free to edit this product to include the terminology you used in your classroom. I used this outline with my students along with the Research Simulation Source Organizer to write the essay for both the 5th and 6th grade practice PARCC tests provided on-line during the 2014-2015 school year.
