Description

The Renaissance Influencer Activity for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders is a quick in class activity and a great way for students to get to know some Renaissance individuals without having to sit through a lecture. This interactive activity takes between 2-3 days in class and allows students to stretch their creative muscles. Not only will it ease the stress of going through Renaissance shakers and movers, but gives students some flexibility in their options on who they become an expert in.

Renaissance Activity but make it about influencers!

Students are tasked with picking a Renaissance artist/architect/musician/writing/etc, and creating a fake social media page for them. Students have to draw out the page (Facebook, Instagram, Newspaper ad, etc) in order to get credit for the item. There are many other options for students to select as well but the assignment does come with plenty of suggestions. Instead of the teacher having to cover the great thinkers of the Renaissance, let this activity do it for you!

This project includes:

  1. Student Instructions
  2. 21 Possible Topic Options
  3. List of items to include in fake social media page
