Description

Are you looking for a Red Ribbon Week Activity that takes little setup but makes a HUGE impact? Introducing the Wheel of Healthy Choices! This animated, spinning wheel and engaging game will have your students hooked, cheering, and learning all at once!

How it Works: Simply hook up your laptop to a projector, grab a microphone, put on your gameshow voice, and let the fun begin!

Students Spin the Wheel: We've got a colorful digital spinner that'll add a dash of suspense and anticipation. With every spin, students discover which question they'll face. The wheel has 20 questions ranging from healthy habits to handling peer pressure.

❤️ Here’s how I use it: Each day of Red Ribbon Week, I set up my laptop and connect it to the projector in the cafeteria, and then I put on my best gameshow voice with a cool microphone to add to the excitement. To play, the students need to sign a pledge card saying they won't try drugs. We collect these cards by grade level.

During each grade level lunch, I randomly pick names from the pledge cards and announce, "(Name), you're the next contestant on the Wheel of Healthy Choices!" The look on their faces is priceless! They come up to my laptop, hit the button, and the colorful spinner starts spinning, building up the suspense.

Whatever question the spinner lands on, I read it so the kids eating can hear and then I let the contestant (student) answer using the microphone. They earn cool prizes like pencils, stickers, or other Red Ribbon Week stuff.

But the best part is the amazing support from their peers. After they answer, the whole cafeteria applauds them for making healthy choices. It’s a great community-building activity! Kids absolutely adore this game and eagerly look forward to it each year!

Don't miss out on this fabulous opportunity to make Red Ribbon Week a memorable experience for your students!
