Reading and Writing Conference Teacher Tools Bundle

These two tools will change your reading and writing conferences for the better! Use the Reading Level Teacher Notebook and Student Tracking Pages to confer with your students levels A - Z (Plus ALL DRA levels!) Give your students the tracking pages to hold them accountable while reading independently. Use the conferring notebook to guide you in running your conferences, create schedules, AND take notes!

Reading Notebook:

• Create a notebook for yourself to carry around. Levels A-Z (DRA levels too!) each have a one page summary with Before, While, and After Reading Skills. (A and B do not include a “before” section) and Scaffolding and Support Prompts.
• The Reading Skills side of the sheet will help you to easily know and remember what specific skills your student should be working on at that level.
• The Scaffolding and Support Prompts side of the sheet will give you easy wording for goals for your students to walk away with.
• Give each of your students a goal tracking sheet for his/her level. Use a post it note to easily give a goal for the week so they can remember what you worked on. I have my students keep their tracking sheets in sheet protectors.

Conferring Notebook:
