Description
In math, teaching your students to show their work using “numbers, pictures, or words" can be tough. When asked, many times my students will tell me that they have no idea what strategy they used or how to show their work. In reading, teaching your students to use multiple reading strategies is tough. When asked, many times my students will tell me that they used the strategy of “sounding it out.” To help my students better use and be able to articulate use of multiple math and reading strategies, I created these posters!
I hang the posters at eye level so that my students can easily refer to them while working. I have included multiple strategies that follow along with many math instruction programs and suggestions. They also follow along with Common Core suggestions.
I have also included pages that have all of the posters on them so that you can send it home. Students can also keep them in a math folder for easy reference.
