Description

Have your students ever wished that they could bring your anchor charts home with them? Now your students can review skills and strategies anywhere they go with these colorful, notebook sized anchor charts. The anchor charts in this product focus on skills and strategies for reading nonfiction and also align perfectly with Schoolwide Reading program.

Reading Notebook Anchor Charts (Nonfiction)

The students in my class love to use anchor charts as a visual aide for learning and independent work time. They have certainly been a wonderful resource in the classroom. However, I’ve always struggled with two problems; there simply wasn’t enough wall space in the room to display all of our anchor charts throughout the year and the children didn’t have access to the anchor charts to support their learning at home.

Since I began using reading notebook anchor charts in my classroom, I have noticed that my students are better able to work independently and refer to their anchor charts more frequently when they’re in need of additional support. I love being able to use them as a visual as I present the lesson as well as when we review. Everything is at their fingertips to refer back to with ease all year long.

Anchor charts included in this resource:
