Description

Track reading with a simple, easy-to-use reading log! Students will practice summarizing and vocabulary in this reading log. Each day includes a short summary with one day of the log focusing on vocabulary.

Making independent reading worthwhile and focused can be tricky, but implementing this simple log makes it easy! Keep track of students' reading progress while having them practice summarizing in this simple reading log.

Here's what you'll get:

  • A printable, weekly reading log
  • Four days include a three-sentence summary of what they read
  • One day (Wordy Wednesday) has a vocabulary focus
  • Each day has room for students to fill in pages read
  • Could be done in class or assigned for at-home reading

A three-sentence summary makes checking comprehension easy and accessible for all students while giving them practice in a difficult skill!
