What educators are saying

Just what I needed. I like how students can choose a question to focus on during their reading and write an answer. Thank you.
My favorite reading log! I let my students choose the question most of the time and they do really well with it! It makes for easy homework as well.

Description

A few years ago, I ditched timers and parent signatures from my nightly reading homework log – and I’ve never looked back. This resource was created from a need to engage students in their independent reading rather than make it a dreaded chore.

This Homework Reading Log contains two main parts: the reading log and a question choice sheet. On the log, students list the book they read each night and then choose a response question to show what they've learned from their reading. Students are to challenge themselves to choose a different question each night and answer in complete sentences.

⭐️ This resource is included in my Reading Response BUNDLE. Purchasing the bundle saves you 20% or more! Find the bundle here.
