Description
Sending home a bag of books (or reading bag) to be read at home is crucial to reading success. However, parents do not always know what to do with the books once they get home. To help carry over the skills I am teaching my students in the classroom – I created this packet for my parents. It has helped to ensure parents understand how to best read with and help their child.
This packet has helped to have all of my reading handouts in one coherent place for my parents. There is so much about reading that we assume they know…but they don’t! The handouts included spell it out in easy to understand terms.
I’ve included several options for you so that you find just what you need. You can pick and choose – or email me with a special request!
