This set of Common Core Reading Assessments for Third Grade was designed to make assessment easy. You have the option of using the print-and-go assessments from the PDF file, or the easy to use digital Google Forms assessments. Both options are simple to use and give you valuable information that will drive your instruction.
About this Product:
The PDF file and the digital file both include three assessments for each standard. By including three assessments for each of the third grade reading standards you have the freedom to choose which assessment(s) to use in your classroom and you have the ability to reassess your students, or revisit topics.

*RI.3.6 asks students to distinguish their opinion from the author’s opinion. These assessments are a combination of multiple choice and free response. They are not self-grading, but students’ answers will be stored for your review.
Please note that assessments for RF.3.4(b) and RF.3.4(c) are not included in this set of digital assessments as they measure oral reading skills. However, there are three assessments for RF.3.4(a).
How to Use the Digital Component:
- You must have a Google account in order to use these assessments with your students.
- Upon purchase you will receive a PDF document with links to all 72 assessments. The PDF includes directions on how to download the Forms to your Google Drive and how to share them with your students.
- While you will need a Google account, your students DO NOT. They will simply need access to the internet in order to complete the assessments.
