Reader's Workshop Conference Log and Organizer

Keep your Reader's Workshop conference notes on each student organized! Assess and push your students to read at a higher level without having to waste time keeping meticulous notes!

This chart has a space for you to note:

- the text the student is currently reading, its guided reading level, and if the text is easy, just right, or difficult for the student.
- the compliment given to the student (what reading strategy they have shown you that they can do independently).
- the type of coaching you gave to push their reading. Simply circle what you are telling the student to focus on/practice as they continue reading.

If needed, there is space for any additional notes on the conference as well as a recommended strategy group teaching point for that student.

Keep one of these sheets per student in your conference binder to track what you have coached them on through the school year! They can be copied and sent home to parents and kept in student's portfolios as well!
