What educators are saying

Character traits are a big deal in 3rd grade. However, since my students are dual language learners, they don't always have the vocabulary to describe their thoughts. I was able to cut and laminate these cards to provide a visual for kids with a friendly definition.
My students enjoyed the resource. In reading they were learning character trait, therefore I also implemented it in the Spanish class. They were so engaged in the lesson that they would use it in their daily conversation.

Description

These 63 personality trait cards are for dual language classrooms. They can be utilized for vocabulary development during read alouds, guided reading, or socio-emotional lessons.

These trait cards are classified into positive, neutral, and negative personality traits. If you do not want the green, yellow, or red border included in the card, simply remove the border while cutting out the cards.

Print these cards on cardstock and laminate them for long term use.

Post them in the classroom so students can easily refer to them when identifying ...

- the personality trait of a familiar character

- their own personality traits

- ideal personality traits in a friend

- personality traits that they would not like in a friend
