Description

This is a 4-day review unit aligned to Common Core standard RL 3.7/4.7 - How Illustrations Enhance the Story. This fully scripted unit uses 4 different mentor texts and scaffolds students ability to find additional details and information to deepen their understanding of a text. Each day has a specific learning objective and uses the strategy of close reading to achieve this objective. Also useful as 2nd grade differentiated unit. Includes fully scripted lesson plans, Independent Work Images and Exit Tickets aligned to the rigor of Common Core Assessment Standards.
