Description

Teaching structured writing response?

This R.A.C.E strategic writing activity will increase your student’s writing skills, achievement, and knowledge. Great for test prep and state standardized testing. The Blooms Taxonomy questions and how-to-answer cheat sheet is really eye-catching and a great writing tool for your writing lessons!

Sketch notes are creative, hands-on, auditory, personal, and brain-friendly fun! If you love interactive notebooks you'll love this differentiation strategy! Get this activity as a PDF download for printing, GOOGLE drive version, or upload the PDF to your favorite note-taking app like Notability or Microsoft One Note -all really versatile for a tech-infused lesson.

There are different versions included in this resource. The sketch notes that do not have the artwork encourages your students to add their own (visual notes are not all about the art - the focus is the visual content).

I really love how a concept can be mapped out with visuals like with interactive notebooks but without the cutting. Sketchnotes help my students' memory and recalling skills -visual notes, pictures, symbols, sequence, color, and frames, and fonts.

Sketchnotes are an inspiring and logical way to engage in visual note-taking from direct and student-centered instruction. Sketchnotes can be used for:

★Note taking

★Auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners

★Encourages creativity

★Organizing thoughts

★Studying and memorization

★Gaining insight on complex subjects

★Jogging your creativity

★Visually appealing presentation of information

★Allows students to discover their own style

★In this resource - the sketch notes are both on paper and digital

INCLUDES:

★RACE Writing Strategy Sketchnotes

- in color, with lines, filled in

--in color, with lines, not filled in

Please provide me with really appreciated feedback!

Are you using technology?

Get ready for your technology infused 21st century classroom! Your common core lessons will be alive with enthusiasm when you bring digital notebooks to your students.

Educational Technology. Mobile Learning. Google Resource. Digital Classroom.

You don't need to be a teacher in a 1:1 classroom to deliver digital content for your lesson plans and curriculum. Using a teaching text, or instructional web tool - like an online textbook paired with Google Drive, Google Classroom, Microsoft OneDrive, or a learning management system, is an excellent first step to try paperless classroom instructional technology methods.

Elearning promotes differentiation, collaboration, improves overall learning objectives, and student growth mindset, which are proven advantages of using classroom technology.
