    These RACE strategy practice passages are perfect for teaching your students RACE response. Using nonfiction text to color code text evidence, students then use a RACE constructed response graphic organizer and writing prompt to practice the RACE writing strategy.

    This is the digital AND paper version of my RACE Nonfiction Practice Passages to use with google classroom or as a paper resource. Please watch the video preview that comes with the digital product on how to use the color coding and race text boxes digitally!

    This product combines reading comprehension and writing to provide easier instruction and practice for students. Students will be color coding/highlighting key details in interesting nonfiction reading passages. They will then answer questions using a R.A.C.E. constructed response. Students will enjoy reading about a wide variety many non fiction topics. There are 25 non fiction reading passages with R.A.C.E. constructed response question included. By purchasing the paper and digital bundle you will receive a

    *25 Non-Fiction reading passages- the same passages in both paper and digital form

    *4 Color coding key details to find within text for each passage

    *Writing prompt with R.A.C.E. response graphic organizer for each passage
