What educators are saying

This resource was fun to use the first week of school! We used it to sharpen our science skills. Thank you!
Great lab to get my students out of their seats and moving around. I used this in an ICT earth science class and I used real materials instead of the images.

Description

This is a great activity for students to get to walk around the room and work with their peers. Students will work on 8 stations.

The 8 stations include pictures for students to make their qualitative and quantitative observations. Stations that ask for quantitative observations will need a ruler and a triple beam balance or digital scale. If you do not have the materials for each lab station, there will be pictures for each station.

Station 2: This station is set up so students can make observations through touch. You can put cotton balls in the bag or anything of your choice.

*Materials needed for this lab: rulers, triple beam balance or digital scale, cotton balls, brown paper bag.
