What educators are saying

I used these during my WIN time for the enrichment group. They loved them because they are high intrest topics. I loved them because I could monitor that they were actually learning something.

    How does it work?

Simple for students! They scan, watch and learn, and take notes!

    Why videos, not books?

Today’s students need access to information represented by a variety of media such as pre-recorded video, live webinars, and podcasts that extend beyond print. As educators, we must be mindful of providing a variety of authentic ways for our students to learn, and help them acquire new information outside of text. Listening is literacy! Multimedia sources can help us to provide opportunities for ALL LEARNERS at ALL LEVELS to build background information and vocabulary that is so critical for the development of strong language comprehension skills.  That is why “Little Researchers” uses high-quality videos on a variety of topics created by a credible source!

When can I use this? My day is already so busy!

Here's how I use Little Researcher in my classroom:

    • Create a mini “Genius Hour” with your students!
