Description

PUZZLE POWER
Developing Early Literacy Skills in a Puzzle Center
Designed for Grades 1-3, CCSS Aligned

I have always believed in the power of puzzles in the classroom. As a classroom teacher, I found the hands-on approach provided students with significant benefits physically, cognitively and emotionally. It was always a popular choice by students. Puzzle Power was redesigned from my original hand-written puzzle center directions to incorporate Common Core State Standards in Literacy.

PUZZLE POWER includes:
" Research Background on the benefits of puzzle construction
" Overview of Components
" Puzzle Under Construction Center Poster
" Goal Setting Poster
" Goal Setting Form
" 10 puzzle task cards aligned to CCSS
" Blank Puzzle Power frame in the event you want to add your own task cards
" Puzzle Power list writing paper
" Puzzle Power written response writing paper

Enhance the physical, cognitive, and emotional development of your students…enjoy!
