Pumpkin Hide and Seek Number and Sight Word Recognition Pocket Chart Game

Do your students enjoy the Hide and Seek Pocket Chart Games? Students can practice number recognition or sight words while playing this game with the whole class or in small groups. Hide the spider behind a pumpkin, students guess where the spider is hiding.

My students love playing these games and I know yours will too. They are easy to set up; all you need is a pocket chart. They are great for time fillers or to leave for a sub. Simply place the cards in a pocket chart. Next, hide the mystery piece behind one of the cards. Students then take turns guessing where the card is hidden. These games are great for vocabulary skills and having students speak in complete sentences too.
